HTC One E9+ Up Close And Personal, Hands-On Images From China

HTC has announced the company’s 2015 flagship last month as part of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Ever since that thing was announced, we’ve seen quite a few leaks and rumors regarding the other HTC-branded high-end devices. HTC One M9+ and One E9+ have been leaking like crazy for almost a month until the company finally announced both of them two days ago. This announcement took place at HTC’s event in Beijing which was scheduled quite some time ago. Both of these handsets are high-end offerings by HTC and will be available in Asia only, at least for now. We’re here to talk more about the One E9+ this time around considering some hands-on images with the device surfaced in China. The One E9+ is the more affordable of the two, but this is also a premium offering by the company. This handset offers metal build in combination with some matte plastic on the back. The device resembles the One M9 to and extent, they look very similar from the front, but as soon as you flip it over you’ll notice this is a completely different device.

The HTC One E9+ features a 5.5-inch QuadHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card up to 128GB). This handset is powered by MediaTek’s MT6795M octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz which ships with a PowerVR G6200 GPU for graphics. The 20-megapixel camera can be found at the back of this device along with an LED flash, and there’s a 4-megapixel UltraPixel shooter available on the front side of this handset. Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with HTC’s Sense UI 7 on top of it. This is a dual SIM device which comes with 4G LTE connectivity and packs in a non-removable 2,800mAh battery.
