Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Flagships Are Launching All Over The World; Images From Rotterdam Prove High Demand

Samsung has announced the company’s new flagship devices at the beginning of last month during MWC in Barcelona. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge devices are really impressive devices, both on the inside and out. These two are the first metal unibody smartphones manufactured by Samsung and they pack in the bleeding edge of tech parts available at the moment. The two devices were available for pre-order for quite some time now all over the world, and they are available for sale starting today, April 10.

The company’s newest Galaxy S6 devices were well-received at first, the initial reactions were positive, and it seems like a lot of people are interesting in Samsung’s new flagships. If you take a look at the gallery below the article you’ll notice a lot of people waiting in line to get their hands on one of the two Galaxy S6 devices. These images were taken in front of the T-Mobile store in Rotterdam by the way. The company is releasing their devices in 20 countries today simultaneously, the launches are happening all over the world. Anyhow let’s take a quick look at the spec sheet of both of these devices, shall we.

The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge handset have almost the same spec sheet, though they look somewhat different on the outside considering the Galaxy S6 Edge’s curved display. These devices feature a 5.1-inch QuadHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display along with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32, 64 or 128GB of non-expandable internal storage. Samsung’s very own Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core processor is powering on these devices and they both come with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop pre-installed with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of Google’s OS. The 16-megapixel camera sensor is located on both of them (OIS included), and a 5-megapixel snapper is available up front. 2,550mAh non-removable battery ships with the Galaxy S6, and the 2,600mAh unit comes with the Galaxy S6 Edge.
