Here’s a quick pro tip for all the new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge users out there. We all know how great of a camera Samsung has put on both of these devices. If you don’t, well it’s one of the best out there if not the best. But how can you access it quickly? On other devices you can do a gesture to open the camera, or on Sony’s devices you can even hit the dedicated camera button on the side. Samsung has made it quite easy to jump into the camera. It’s pretty quick, as well as painless to do. None of that flicking your wrist to open it up, like a certain other manufacturer does.
You’ll need your phone to be unlocked, unfortunately, now just double tap your home button. And the camera opens up really quickly and is instantly ready to take a picture. Making it easier to catch that moment you wanted to cherish forever. This works on both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
Samsung has kept their megapixel count to 16, instead of jumping on the 20MP bandwagon with the likes of Motorola, Sony and HTC. With the HTC One M9 and the Samsung Galaxy S6, it’s quite clear that megapixels are definitely not everything. The Galaxy S6’s camera is pretty fast at capturing photos, and takes some really nice ones as well. The Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 both had some amazing cameras, and we weren’t sure Samsung could improve them much, but they did.
