Hosan S7 Gets Announced In China, Complete With 3GB Of RAM And Nano-Injection Alloy Body

China is home to many, many smartphone manufacturing companies. We oftenly talk about Xiaomi, Huawei, Meizu, ZTE… and plenty of other companies which are somewhat popular and have plenty to say during the year. There are a lot of smaller companies in China though, which don’t get under the spotlight that often. Hosan is definitely one of those companies, and this China-based smartphone OEM has announced a rather interesting device which might interest you, read on.

This China-based company has announced the Hosan S7, their flagship for this year. The Hosan S7 features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. This handset is powered by MediaTek’s MT6752 64-bit octa-core processor and it will ship with a 3,000mAh battery on the inside. The 13-megapixel camera is located on the back of this device and flanked by an LED flash, while there’s an 8-megapixel snapper available up front. Android 4.4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed on this device with the company’s custom HaloUI on top of Google’s operating system. The Hosan S7 does offer 4G LTE connectivity as well.

What’s really eye-catching here is the phone’s design. It’s made out of nano-injection alloy body stuck between two glass panels. Hosan has used so-called “H-Frame nano-injection technology” in order to manufacture this device’s shell. The company has decided to put the power / lock button on top of the device though, which seems like an odd choice considering the size of this thing. Volume rockers are located on the right side of the phone, but are also very high up. This thing actually reminded us of the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 at first sight, though its design is different, of course. The bezels seem almost non-existent when you look at the device with a turned off display, but as soon as you turn it on you’ll see that the black bars are present on every side of the phone. This was to be expected though, basically every phone out there has them, so… but the phone still looks really sleek in terms of the design.

This smartphone will be available in China in Black, Blue and Gold color options. The device will cost 1,999 Yuan ($322) in China once it launches later this month. We still don’t know if it will be available outside of China at any point though.
