The Samsung Galaxy S6 is Samsung’s brand new flagship smartphone that is making everyone fall in love with Samsung again. Now, it looks like Samsung is taking that love to a whole new level with Avengers-themed accessories. Yes, you read that correctly. Samsung has officially announced that they will be launching Avengers-themed accessories for (both versions of) the Galaxy S6 along with the possibility of some themes.
Some of you may remember that back in March we posted an article that showed some interesting images that had surfaced from South Korea. You can take a look at them above. They showed Galaxy S6 Edge with accessory ideas that Samsung was considering, accessories that are now officially coming to fruition. Said accessories are Avengers-themed and sure to satisfy a substantial group of people. If carrier stores were to put said accessories on display in their stores, next to or on Galaxy S6 Edge, it would surely entice people to purchase the Galaxy S6 devices.
This news comes straight from Samsung Electronics Vice President of Design for Samsung Mobile Lee Min-hyuk. He is quoted saying the following, “Following the Avengers open theme, consumers now can enjoy Avengers-edition accessories based on various characters in the film.” Unfortunately, when these accessories will actually become a thing is still up in the air.
The Galaxy S6 was released last month in two separate models, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Both models contain Samsung’s own octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, a 1440 x 2560 display at 5.1-inches, have 16 MP cameras and run Android Lollipop. Obviously these specs are some of the best on the market and make the Galaxy S6 a very formidable opponent against any other current smartphone. Now, having official Avengers-themed accessories and maybe even themes, will make this device even more enticing to customers.
Like mentioned above, there is currently no word on when these accessories will actually become a thing. But the important thing to take away from this article is that they are coming and they are coming for a good reason. That reason is demand, Samsung and Avenger fans have been asking for this for about a month now. Samsung must have got wind of this desire and listened to their fans, something that more companies should do more often.
